On my mind

Recently, I have received quite possibly the ballsiest email I have ever gotten beside the racist one. That one was just pure ignorance. This one took the cake! Basically the person says that I need to do another giveaway in order to entice them into following my blog. Really now? SCREW YOU, Buddy! Upon further investigation, I come to find out that this person had followed me before but unfollowed after they didn't win anything. I dont need that kind of follower. Thanks. You can take your sense of entitlement and kick fucking rocks. (Excuse my language) I do these giveaways out of love for y'all. The money comes out of MY pocket so I will do my giveaways when I am damned good and ready. Not when you tell me!!! How about that? Said person is blocked from my email and if I ever see them here again trying to enter a giveaway they are immediately disqualified. Please don't send me this random emails.

Next thing I'd like to talk about is pushy bloggers/spammers. Don't come in here saying random junk like "Nice blog. Follow me at blahblah.blogspot.com" Really? Uhhhhhhhhhhh...Nope. Delete. Now I do have an email address associated with this blog. Youre more thatn welcome to email me and ask if we can trade links but dont leave a generic comment. I hate that shit. I really do!!! So QUIT DOING IT! I will delete those comments. I mean that, people.

There is a such a thing as being a good blogger. We should have respect for each other. We are a community of like-minded people. It breaks my heart to find out there are bloggers out there who think of this as a business, who push themselves on companies and other bloggers out in the public eye. Companies have PR reps who have emails. Why put yourself on blast in front of everyone in the world on Twitter or whatever other public forum there is. You're disgusting. You embarrass me and you make other bloggers look bad. We all started at the bottom. If you're new, there is nothing wrong with that. Everyone starts out that way and eventually you meet people you grow to love and have relationships with companies that grow to love and appreciate you. The kind of bloggers who do this leave a bad taste in my mouth. You do.

On and another thing, Im really tired of people attacking my blogging friends. Lay off! I don't think you know what that does to your image in this type of environment. You'll learn eventually.
