Glitter in the Air

Afternoon, lovelies!

I have been feeling all out of sorts since Sunday. My teeth are killing me and OMG! Hate them. One of them cracked while I was eating a bowl of cereal and on the other side had a small chunk fall out. Now yall....I am so on it when it comes to my teeth. Brushed twice a day and all that jazz so this is killing me and I cannot get into the dentist until after next week. Anyway!!! I had been wearing the same polish since Sunday. J2 Midnight Affair. This polish is like a blue-black and I love her. Went on pretty good after two coats. Didnt feel like waiting on the 3rd to dry but isn't she pretty???

 Well last night I decided to change polish but I didn't. I soaked my acrylics off. Took me about an hour per hand. That is the only thing I hate about acrylics. Anyway today I decided to be brave and do something I had never done before. Glitter tips! I have that little kit from Martha Stewart and they have just been sitting in my room for ages so I pulled the pink one and mixed some with equal parts acrylic powder. This is what I got for my trouble.

Let's just say I know where I went wrong and if I should ever decide to do this again, I can correct the mistakes I made which you can see in the following pictures. I did not take it all the way up the edge on some of the nails and there wasn't enough glitter covering some of the sides.

I just buffed them and left them alone but I'll probably cover them up tonight or in the morning. You all have a great evening!!
