Purple Gradient - Nails Art Design

I finally got my header up! HTML is so frustrating sometimes...bear with me as I continue to make little changes around the page.

I thought I'd share with you today a purple gradient that I did recently. It was my first time doing a gradient and it took actually less time than I thought it would! I used a sponge technique which blended the colors nicely together and put a top coat over top for extra shine. Started out with the lightest color as base, then worked my way up to the sparkle polishes. I'm pretty pleased with my first attempt. What do you think?

The SkinFood consistency was a little thicker than the OPIs, but application with the sponge went well and the color transferred nicely. The only problem I had was taking off the sparkles on the clear nail polish, but I guess that's what you get for buying cheap polish :)
