Growing out my natural nails...

I have been getting acrylics since I was about 19. Almost twenty years. That is a long time. Of course I've had small breaks in between. A few weeks here, a month there but never for more than 2 months. A few weeks back, I decided with encouragement by the way from Ange at Scandalously Polished and Nicole over at Magic Maid that I would try and the people at Dermelect were nice enough to send me their product, Launchpad to help me with that process. It can be purchased here.

What is Launchpad? It is a peptide-infused nail strengthener. Derived from New Zealand wool, it delivers keratin protein to the nails increasing the integrity and cohesion to the nail plate resulting in natural flexibility and increased moisture. Furthermore its antioxidant behavior allows it to actively remove harmful free radicals most commonly associated with nail damage. Please ignore my cuticles. They have been in really bad shape lately and I'm doing my best to moisturize. This is the left hand, BTW. Thumb nail is still in recovery with the splits. LOL
